Candidate's Comments:
I believe life begins at conception and the role of government is to protect the most vulnerable among us, including unborn babies. I’m not insensitive to the exception of the life of the mother in rare cases. If the state allows elective surgeries, no tax dollars should be used to subsidize this choice. There are no other rights and amendments that the government subsidizes. We should invest in foster and adoption options for couples desiring to parent, but are unable to have children.

Candidate's Comments:
I am a proponent of school choice. Competition is the market driven approach to getting our kids the quality educational outcomes they need to be successful. The founders wanted our kids educated but they didn't say it had to be by public schools. More choices and alternatives for parents to choose what is best for their family will produce better results. Schools have no right to interfere in a child’s personal or sexual life and certainly not to hide information from parents. The Supreme Court declared in Washington v. Glucksberg (1997) that the Constitution & 14th Amendment Due Process Clause protects fundamental rights of parents to direct the care, upbringing, & education of their children. Teenage development leads to growing independence from parents that no school administrator or teacher should exploit to sexualize or sterilize minors. Books containing profane or pornographic content have no place in our childrens’ libraries, and certainly not paid for with taxpayer dollars. Sexually explicit content and gender curriculum must be removed from our schools.

Candidate's Comments:
Sex-specific spaces and athletic competitions must be separated based on biological (chromosomal) sex of individuals for the safety, privacy, and fairness for women and girls.
