I firmly believe that parents should have the primary authority to make decisions about their child's medical care as well as decisions regarding prescription drugs and surgery. The role of parents is crucial in guiding and supporting their child's needs, and I advocate for ensuring that schools and other entities respect and defer to parental rights in these sensitive matters.
