The Constitution acknowledges our inalienable rights that come from our Creator. People exercising those rights must be protected in law.

Candidate's Comments:

Gender ideology is a theory that is not based on science and therefore should not be institutionalized in law. Laws should be based on facts and protect the most vulnerable in our society. Biological males retain their bone and muscle structure that is different from a woman's regardless of hormone treatments and therefore they have an unfair advantage if they are allowed to participate in women's sports. Sports should be played on a level playing field. Studies have indicated that approximately 80% of those with gender confusion come to terms and accept their biological sex as they mature through puberty. Permanent mutilation and sterilization of minors who most likely change their mind regarding their "identity" as well as banning counseling services that a child might want to assist in getting through unwanted attractions are abusive. There is a big demand for surgery to revert back to one's biological sex although their ability to have children may be permanently lost. Sadly, former homosexuals and transgenders experience slander and discrimination from their prior identity group.

14. Parental Rights for Transparency in Education: Giving parents access to the curriculum and materials their children are learning in school and allowing them to decide whether or not their children should be exposed to certain ideas.	X

Candidate's Comments:

Parents should be the ultimate decision maker on the curricula that is taught to their child and have the ability to move their child to the facility of their choice, including home school. Educational funding should follow the student. Schools are a service to families and must meet the standards expected by their "customers". Failing schools would ultimately be closed. Academics are expected to be taught in the classroom where the student advances based on merit. There is too much non-academics being taught in our schools under the heading of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) - where children are being exposed to inappropriate sexual content and politicized by revised history that is divides rather than unifies our children. Although prayer was taken out of the classroom, students must not be forced to deny to their religious morals, beliefs and practices by school authorities or their peers (bullying). Studies indicate our children are falling behind in reading, writing and math. The focus needs to be on the academic fundamentals so that graduates can succeed in a complex, technical, rapidly changing work environment.

Candidate's Comments:

Conscience protections must be every employee's basic rights. Although procedures become legal, they may continue to be unethical/immoral in the perspective of many of our citizens. Children are a parent's responsibility, not the educational system. Nothing should be done that affects a child that is not approved by his or her parent.
