Candidate's Comments:
In a perfect world none of the "protected classes" would be needed, but unfortunately the world is far from perfect and I don't think it acceptable discriminate people just because they happen to be gay or transgender.

Candidate's Comments:
Instead of taking money away from poor-performing schools via vouchers, we need to fix the funding model in Ohio that was ruled unconstitutional in 1997 and move to a fair-funding model that would be based on enrollment instead of the local tax-base. This would help to level the playing field of all of our schools. Allowing teachers to misgender or deadname students/peers is just being mean. You don't have to understand why anyone is they way they are, but when you have the choice to intentionally cruel or kind to someone, why would you chose anything other than being kind to them? Educators have a very difficult job, and they don't need the parents of every student giving feedback on every lesson. It makes sense to have waivers for things like sex-ed, but there has to be a limit. It's just impractical.

Candidate's Comments:
I support reproductive freedom and am terrified by the restrictive laws around the country how they have endangered the health, fertility and threatened the lives of women experiences miscarriage due to the classification of a D&C as an abortion. I also support funding clinics such as Planned Parenthood because they offer far more than just abortion services. Finally, I support the right of all Americans to die with dignity if that's their choice.
