Candidate's Comments:
3. Allowing voluntary physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients. There isn’t an option for “undecided” & in this unclear context I can’t support it. Options should be made available for patients that are dying to be able to reduce or eliminate any pain or discomfort and quality of remaining life should be a consideration. There are many variables involved in this situation though.

6. Prohibiting speech zones or speech codes that restrict where students can discuss controversial or unpopular issues on college campuses. Unsure with the way this is worded but for clarification, free speech shouldn’t be limited to any particular area in the public. It is a right that should exist in any public space.

9. Allowing parents to obtain professional counseling for children struggling with gender identity issues to help them reach their desired outcome. Sounds like a great idea but I don’t support taxpayer funding of this. 10. (a) & (b) Adding “sexual orientation” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law. Etc People should be free to express themselves in any way they choose to express themselves but I think the existing non discrimination laws are already adequate.

Candidate's Comments:
13. Allowing schools to teach children that America’s laws, policies, and society perpetuate systemic racism and that people are either oppressors or oppressed, or privileged or marginalized, based on their skin color. Schools should stick with teaching basics such as Math, Science, English, Literature, Computers, etc without getting into any controversial subjects. Parents can choose to teach their own children philosophy, religion, social issues or when the students voluntarily pay for their chosen education fields in college where they can choose courses related to that at that time.

Candidate's Comments:
16. Requiring schools to disclose to parents if the school is providing counseling or medical services to a child who desires to undergo “gender transition.” I don’t understand why a school would be involved in this but it would definitely need to disclose any involvement with the child’s parents.
