Candidate's Comments:
I believe parents should have the right to seek whatever professional counseling they need for their child - that is their right; however, I do not believe that a minor child knows what "their desired outcome" should be. They struggle with identity, fitting in with peers, physical growth and maturity, and finding their place in the world. They develop a sense of self as they mature and reach adulthood. To ask them to decide their gender - and possibly with permanent effects - before they even know what they "want to be when they grow up" could have lasting emotional, physical, and social consequences. I do not believe in any protected class over another. The Constitution of the United States does not separate out one group over another - it protects the rights of all.

Candidate's Comments:
I believe in the sanctity of life and that means from conception to natural death. I do not agree with abortions for any reason, even to save the mother's life. I believe the doctors should work to save both mother and child and that there shouldn't be a law providing a person to choose one life over another.
