This approach not only respects personal autonomy but also promotes public health by reducing the risks associated with unsafe procedures. Investing in these services ultimately benefits our communities by ensuring that all individuals can make choices that are right for them. I support the option of physician-assisted suicide for individuals facing terminal illness and unbearable suffering at the end of life. This compassionate choice empowers patients to maintain dignity and autonomy over their own bodies and decisions during an incredibly challenging time. Ensuring that this option is available within a strict regulatory framework can provide safeguards against misuse while respecting the deeply personal choices of patients and their families.
