Candidate's Comments:
I don't understand the intention of questions ##9, 10. Parents need to protect their children from making life altering decisions at points in their lives when things change very quickly. Gender transitioning as a child is an outrageous act impacting the long-term in a way that a child cannot fully understand. I support parents being able to get counseling for their child that is struggling with any issue. So, I don't understand the portion of the question that says "desired outcome." What does that mean? Additionally, I am fine with adults making decisions about their lives. I could not care less if people are gay, straight, purple, green, conservative, liberal, etc. Every adult must make decisions about their lives with appreciation for the consequences and long-term implications. I don't want government or liberals cramming their values down our throats. I also don't want private enterprise to be mandated by government dictate to meet a certain public peer pressure. I need to understand more the intention of the question. I believe states, not the federal government, should be the arbiter of these issues.

Schools need permission to give a child an aspirin. School sure as heck better provide parents the right to determine the upbringing of their child.
