4. Isn't denying licensure or cerification for reasons of religion or politics, etc. , considered discrimination? 5. I would like to understand which regulations would be affected. Children's safety being paramount. Freedom Of Religion is kinda big in our Democracy. 6. Absolutely. No doubt. We should all have the right to know why we were denied, or shut down. 7. I think this is ok. But I wonder about transparency. Does this include political contributions? I'm not sure this is so black and white.

Candidate's Comments:
Number 8 is not very clear. Are we talking about counseling to let them discover who they really are? Or a type counseling which tells them they are "wrong" for feeling this way so they can cope with being in the wrong body?

Candidate's Comments:
12. Parents should be informed but can that be done without giving up student/counselor confidentiality? What if a student does not feel "safe" sharing their feelings at home. There is a thin line here. If this is about Kids going to school straight and coming home gay, I have a very hard time even justifying this with an answer. It is an absurd notion and has no basis in fact. I cannot support because it is too vague. 13. I believe a class curriculum is distributed to all students art the beginning of the school year. PTA is a great group to get involved with to stay informed. I think a parent has always had the right to opt out of activities for their kids. My friends got out of all kinds of stuff with a note from their parents.

Candidate's Comments:
Abortion care is reproductive care is healthcare!! We need to codify Roe V. Wade My Mom took advantage of the "Dignified Death" Law. She was a nurse and from a very young age, we knew that she would never do Chemo or Radiation. At the age of 80, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She was able to stretch out her life for a couple years with a life extending drug. But when the end drew near, she knew it was time. Quality of life was everything to her. She was a woman of faith, and was not afraid of death, just sad for what she knew she was going to miss. There was a lot of beurocracy, bit I think that is appropriate for this particular issue. And the guidelines are clear. A terminal illness usually ends in a brutally awful and cruel way. I hope I am afforded this same right if I ever get a terminal diagnosis. Not to mention the pure suffering that loved ones have to witness and endure at the end of a deadly illness. I believe, very strongly, in the right to a dignified death.
