2.
Taxpayer Funded Abortion: Allowing taxpayer dollars to fund organizations that provide abortion.
X
3.
Physician-Assisted Suicide: Allowing voluntary physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients.
X
Candidate's Comments:
We need to have compassion for women facing unplanned pregnancy and provide practical, meaningful support for both of those lives, and abortion is not the answer. Regarding physician-assisted suicide, I empathize with people with terminal illnesses and have a desire to help people in seemingly hopeless situations. I disagree with the Canadian law allowing assisted suicide for patients with depression and PTSD.

Candidate's Comments:
Just like it would be wrong to force a Muslim person to miss their call to prayer or force a Kosher person to eat pork, I agree with the Supreme Court that the Colorado baker should not be forced to violate his sincerely held beliefs.

8.
Women's Sports: Preventing biological males who identify as female from competing in women's sports.
X

Protected Class for Sexual Orientation: Adding “sexual orientation” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law.

10(b).
Protected Class for Gender Identity: Adding “gender identity” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law.

Candidate's Comments:
If people who have gone through puberty as men are permitted to play on womens sports teams, we would need to repeal Title IX. I do not support repealling Title IX. I want to better understand the implications of adding sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination laws. Discrimination is un-American, however it appears these laws would erode religious liberties for people like the Colorado baker, and I vigorously support religious freedom.

11.
School Choice: Allowing the use of tax credits, vouchers, and education savings accounts to cover the cost of children attending the school of their parents' choice, including private schools.
X
12.
Parental Rights for Opt-Out: Giving parents the ability to opt their children out of school materials and lessons to which the parents object.
X
13.
Critical Race Theory: Allowing schools to teach children that America's laws, policies, and society perpetuate systemic racism and that people are either oppressors or oppressed, or privileged or marginalized, based on their skin color.
X
14.
Parental Rights for Transparency in Education: Giving parents access to the curriculum and materials their children are learning in school and allowing them to decide whether or not their children should be exposed to certain ideas.
X
Candidate's Comments:
Any curriculum that divides kids into “oppressor” and “victim” groups, teaches kids that they cannot succeed, and pushes an inaccurate version of American history should have no place in taxpayer-funded public schools. My message to kids is, Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t succeed!

X
17.
Parental Rights for Mental Health Disclosure: Directing schools to inform parents of any mental, physical, or emotional health information and treatment that a child is receiving at school.

Candidate's Comments:
Parents have the final say over how their kids are raised and their rights do not end at the school gates.
