Candidate's Comments:
Q9 - I support allowing counseling to allow families to discuss and deal with a very difficult issue - I do not support parents making the decisions on these issues for the children or bringing them to hand-picked professionals to acquire the "medical OK" to go through with gender transition. Q10 - Sexual orientation and gender identity are wholly different. I support protections for all people from discrimination, but as to gender identity, the concept is too fluid to provide the same kind of governmental non-discrimination protections. It needs to be better defined first.
