The above issues are healthcare issues, I believe that everyone should be able to make their own healthcare decisions in concert with their physicians.

Candidate's Comments:
No one should be treated differently due to their beliefs or values, but treating others differently because of your own beliefs or values isn't right and doesn't protect you from consequences of treating others differently because of your own beliefs. As for donations, I believe if a person wants to donate anonymously to a charity or private organization that's fine so long as that private organization does not do anything to interfere or attempt to influence our political process (i.e. publishes an ad) as soon as a donation or an org that uses donation monies to fund political ads/candidates those donors and their donation amounts should be made public knowledge to protect our own political process.

Candidate's Comments:
Only reason I say oppose to "Allowing parents to obtain professional counseling for a child struggling with gender confusion to help the child find comfort with his or her biological sex" is because it sounds like we'd be allowing parents to find a counselor to gaslight the child into denying who they are and I do not and will never support that. I would support allowing parents to find counselors to aid their children to discover if they are truly trans or if they are going through body dysmorphia.

Candidate's Comments:
Public funds should never go towards religious schools, we have a separation of church and state for a reason. We should not protect intolerance or straight up bigotry of people refusing to acknowledge a person as who they are. If a student is physically injured or is being bullied the school should inform the parents always, but if the student is getting info based on personal issues or possibly info about abuse then parents should not be advised as they may be the abuser. Parents can easily access curriculums in public schools now by asking their children's teachers, many schools already give parents the option to opt their children out of classes such as sex-ed but many other classes such as literature classes should not be opted out of as these are important classes that all students should take part in.

Candidate's Comments:
I am a healthcare worker, my personal beliefs should have no bearing on the care I provide as someone else's healthcare is based on their beliefs not mine so no if a healthcare worker refuses care based on their own beliefs over the patient's beliefs they should not be protected for neglecting their patient. As for question 16 I support not penalizing pregnancy centers that provide life-size ming support so long as they do not refuse the woman her right to make her own choices about her body and her pregnancy, there is nothing wrong with giving women options but they should be able to make that choice.
