Parents should have full parental rights over their children. However, there should be no treatment for children that the majority professional community has shown would be harmful to a child's mental and or physical health.

Candidate's Comments:
I support a women's right to make decisions with her own body. No person regardless of gender should be forced by anyone, including our government to have or not have procedures performed that a person does not agree with. As to abortions, late term abortions should not be performed and our government should provide funding for programs to support the mother and child as needed until the child is at minimum five years old. If the government forces women to have a full term pregnancy, then the government have an obligation to care for that child. Women need to have access to facilities that can provide safe abortions. Public funding of organizations that provide all forms of healthcare to women and men in need, regardless of their situation is one element that makes us a civilized society
