Candidate's Comments:
The government should never support a religious organization that claim their religion requires child brides. Regarding financial institutions, they are a private industry and should be able to choose who they do business with but should not be permitted to discriminate against minorities or women or LGBTQ persons.

Candidate's Comments:
Parents are their own worst enemy when they decide not to support the child who is experimenting with who they are. As a high school teacher, I have seen so many students struggling with who they are and who they want to be. It is almost certain that teenagers will rebel against their parents in some way and it is usually to get the most attention possible. It is the most predictable child, who rebels against their parents during puberty, their brains aren’t yet fully developed but their minds are going through the developmental process of becoming an adult. This requires distancing themselves from the parents. My advice is to reserve judgement during this time and just wait the process out. Many of my transitioning students have learned to love the gender they were born with after high school and after experimenting with a different gender for a short period.

Candidate's Comments:
Teachers do not answer to the parents, we are not food service workers who allow you to change every individual order. The state provides the curriculum, if you don’t like it, take it up with the proper agency, which is never the teachers. It is the job of a teacher to teach facts and critical thinking skills. We do not cater to parental opinions. That is what home schooling is for. Or parents can choose to pay to send their kids to a private school. Public schools teach to the masses and so that is who our curriculums are written for.

Candidate's Comments:
I firmly believe that a woman has the right to her own life; she and her doctor should determine what is necessary to maintain her health at all costs. A woman has a right to preserve her own health as a priority. It is nobody’s business what a woman and her doctor decide, regarding her body and her health. The right lies to people about late term abortions, doctors don’t do that, period. If a child is viable the doctor will save it and the mother.
