Candidate's Comments:
I believe the government should evaluate applicants for professional licenses and certifications based solely on their qualifications, competence, and compliance with the law not on their religious beliefs or political viewpoints. Every American deserves equal treatment under the law and the freedom to hold and express their sincerely held beliefs without fear of government discrimination. I also support protecting the religious liberty of faith-based organizations so they can continue serving their communities without being compelled to act contrary to their sincerely held religious convictions. These organizations make invaluable contributions through education, foster care, adoption services, and charitable outreach. Their constitutional rights should be respected while they continue to operate in compliance with applicable laws. Additionally, I believe financial institutions should make decisions based on legitimate business and legal considerations, not on a customer's religious beliefs or political opinions. No American should be denied access to essential financial services because of constitutionally protected viewpoints. At the same time, financial institutions must continue to comply with all laws and regulations related to fraud prevention, criminal activity, consumer protection, and public safety.

Candidate's Comments:
I support policies that strengthen parental rights and enhance protections for children online. Parents should have the primary authority to determine when and how their children access and use social media. Technology companies should be held accountable for safeguarding minors by limiting addictive design features, protecting children's personal data from exploitation, and providing parents with meaningful oversight of their children's online activity. I also believe parents should have the right to seek lawful, licensed, and ethical counseling for their children without unnecessary government interference. Families should be free to work with qualified mental health professionals to determine the course of care they believe is in the best interests of their child, provided that all counseling is conducted in accordance with professional standards and applicable law. Additionally, I believe parents should not lose custody of their child solely because they are raising and caring for that child in a manner consistent with the child's biological sex. Child custody decisions should be based on the child's safety, health, and overall well-being. Parents acting in good faith and within the law should have the freedom to make decisions they believe are in the best interests of their children, while always ensuring those decisions promote the child's welfare and comply with applicable legal standards.

Candidate's Comments:
I believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education, and that parents not the government should have the primary authority to choose the educational environment that best meets their child's individual needs. I support educational freedom through tax credits, school vouchers, and education savings accounts because these programs expand opportunities and empower families to make the decisions they believe are best for their children's future. I also believe that no individual should be compelled by the government or an employer to use speech that conflicts with their sincerely held beliefs or their understanding of biological sex. At the same time, I support fostering an environment in which every student and educator is treated with dignity, civility, and respect. Protecting freedom of conscience and free expression should go hand in hand with promoting a culture of mutual respect. Parents are the primary decision-makers in their children's lives and should be fully informed about significant matters affecting their child's mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Schools should work in partnership with parents by maintaining open communication, respecting parental involvement, and complying with all applicable laws. When there are credible concerns regarding a child's safety, schools must act responsibly and in accordance with legal requirements to protect the child's welfare. Finally, I believe transparency and parental involvement are essential to a strong and effective education system. Parents should have access to their children's curriculum, instructional materials, classroom presentations, and school activities so they can make informed decisions about their education. I also support allowing parents to opt their children out of specific lessons or activities that conflict with their sincerely held beliefs or values, consistent with applicable law, while ensuring that every student continues to receive a comprehensive, high-quality education that prepares them for success.

Candidate's Comments:
I believe taxpayers should not be required to fund organizations that provide abortion services. I support directing public funding toward healthcare services that protect both mothers and children, including prenatal care, maternal health, adoption services, and programs that support families. In addition, I also, believe every human life has inherent dignity and value from conception until natural death. Rather than legalizing physician-assisted suicide, I support expanding access to high-quality palliative care, hospice care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support so that terminally ill patients can receive compassionate care while preserving the sanctity of life.
