Candidate's Comments:
I do not believe that saving the life of the mother should be even consider under the procedure of an abortion. This has been a masterful way for the democrats to keep the abortion debate alive. A medical procedure necessary to save the life of the mother is not an abortion. Planned Parenthood does not do those procedures. To save the life of a mother, there will be an actual doctor appointment made at a hospital, not at an abortion clinic. Furthermore, technology and science have advanced so much that a child at risk in the womb has very high probability of being saved as well as the mother. We need to do better with our own messaging and not allow everything to be under this term abortion. Abortion is the intentional termination of a life.

Candidate's Comments:
If I have a private business, I should be able to conduct that business however I want to as long as it is not illegal conduct. These are government issues. The less government involvement, the better off everyone will be.

14.
Parental Rights for Transparency in Education: Giving parents access to the curriculum and materials their children are learning in school and allowing them to decide whether or not their children should be exposed to certain ideas.
X
Candidate's Comments:
School curriculum should be decided between the parents, teachers and the school board. State government and federal government should stay out of the way. There should be no legislation requirements with money attached. The parents should not have to be in a position to opt their children out of lessons and materials. It is frightening that there is not a current partnership at the local level among the previously mentioned parties involved.

Candidate's Comments:
Again, the schools are becoming the long arm of the government. They are getting involved in areas they should not be involved in. No way in the world should schools be providing counseling or medical services for gender transition.
