I believe we have a constitutional obligation to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our posterity. Who is our posterity if not our unborn children? I will be an unwavering champion for the pro-life movement in the North Carolina state Senate.

School choice is the civil rights issue of our time. We must no longer accept the idea that the quality of a child’s education should be dependent on their ZIP Code and family income level. The choice of quality school should never be a luxury of the rich, but rather a priority for every student.

Candidate's Comments:
It is extremely important that we foster a healthcare system that is both affordable and accessible to all. The way to achieve this goal is by removing burdensome government regulations and intervention in the market that drive up the cost of care, not by adding unlimited government control over the market. We should focus on market innovations like direct primary care, health savings accounts, and association health plans which will drive down the cost of care for everyone.
