The real opposition is that these organizations take public tax dollars. IF they take public tax dollars then they should absolutely not be exempt.

I think this can be too broad and can be abused by parents. I agree with removing addictive design features and data exploitation. "8. (a) Allowing parents to obtain professional counseling for a child struggling with gender confusion to help the child find comfort with his or her biological sex." There is no such thing as professional counseling for conversion therapy because it's not grounded in science. "8.(b) Protecting parents from losing custody of their child solely because they treat their child consistent with his or her biological sex." This has never been a thing. The original point in HB25-1312 would have required judges to consider intentionally misgendering your child as a form of disrespect or abuse during an already active custody battle.

This could be used nefariously across the board. Who's to say that parents wouldn't opt their children out of learning the American Revolution? Or other parents opting their children out of learning about the Civil Rights Movement?
