2.
Taxpayer Funded Abortion: Allowing taxpayer dollars to fund organizations that provide abortion.
X
3.
Physician-Assisted Suicide: Allowing voluntary physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients.
X
Candidate's Comments:
I personally oppose abortion, however it is a madical matter that should be kept between a doctor and patient and should not be politicized and used to persecute or attack others. Assisted suicide is the same way. If a patient has a terminal illness, or is in a vegetative state, and is of sound mind, they should be allowed to choose to end their life. Again, a decision that should be between a doctor and patient.

X
Candidate's Comments:
Any business owner or professional does and should have the right to refuse service for any reason. Governmental regulations should not be so restrictive as to require ANYONE to violate their religious beliefs or moral code. Free speech should be protected at all costs, and ignoring the "yelling fire in a crowded theater" scenario, all speech is free speech, even speech one may dislike. The speaker should take responsibility for their words just as we should for our actions. Personal information should be protected by the entity that requests it. That entity should be held responsible when there systems are breached

X
10(b).
Protected Class for Gender Identity: Adding “gender identity” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law.
X
Candidate's Comments:
Men identifying as a woman should NOT be allowed to compete in women's sports Mental and physical health are isssues that should stay between a doctor and patient. Parents of minor children should be the only other person in a discussion about either. Discrimination of any kind is ugly, and a civilized society would refise to entertain any discrimination whatsoever. No gender should have any advantage over another, so gender identity should not matter.
Education and Public Safety

Candidate's Comments:
All funds allocated to the school sysytem should follow the child. Parents should be more involved in what their children are being taught. Laws that cause discrimination should be abolished, and everyone should be trwated according to thier character, not thoer race, skin color, religion or sexual orientation. Again, parents should be more involved in their children education.

Candidate's Comments:
Medical decisions are solely between doctors and patients, they should never be discussed with a third party unless the patient consents. Parents have every right to know what interactions their children are having at school unless they are harming the child and the child saying something will get them hurt.
