#8(a) Young people experiencing questions about gender should have access to qualified, age-appropriate counseling that supports their mental health and allows them to explore their feelings without pressure toward a predetermined outcome. Counseling should follow established professional standards and must not attempt to shame or coerce a child into changing their identity. #8(b) Agree, with important qualifications. Parents should not lose custody solely because of their personal beliefs about sex and gender. Custody decisions must be based on credible evidence of abuse, including emotional abuse, neglect, or danger to the child, not because of political or religious disagreement. Courts must always consider the child's safety, mental health, and overall well-being.

#11 Agree with appropriate safeguards and that student safety must remain the priority. #12 Agree, with qualifications. Parents should have clear access to curriculum materials and meaningful opportunities to communicate concerns. Opt-outs should be available where permitted by law for specific sensitive subjects. Still, they should not undermine required academic standards, accurate instruction, or every student's right to a comprehensive public education.

#5 Religious Freedom must be protected, but exemptions should not allow organizations to discriminate, deny essential services, or disregard generally applicable laws. Particularly when they receive public funding or serve the broader public. Those exemptions should be narrowly tailored and balanced against the rights and well-being of others.
