Candidate's Comments:

I oppose any attempt to leverage state power against voluntary action undertaken by a free people. Abortion, due to the involved conflicting rights-claim, is a complicated issue with the potential for good-faith arguments to be made on both sides. At the root of this argument, there is only opinion—People need to be free to have their opinions.

Candidate's Comments:

In regards to question 6, I oppose the imposition of regulation onto private institutions—Public institutions have no right to regulate speech. All private institutions, domiciles and businesses have the right to enforce nearly any system of rules or regulations over their own property as the owner sees fit.

Candidate's Comments:

I oppose any laws that restrict the expression of private property rights: That means any private sporting league has the free right to allow any person to participate in any capacity—but also that any person has the right to trespass or refuse service from their property for any reason, including blatant discrimination.

Candidate's Comments:

The ambiguity in questions 12-14 have led me to assume all regulations proposed are to only apply to public institutions.

15. Medical Rights of Conscience: Allowing health care workers and providers the freedom to practice medicine in accordance with their personal beliefs and conscience.	X
16. Parental Rights for Healthcare Disclosure: Requiring schools to disclose to parents if the school is providing counseling or medical services to a child who desires to undergo “gender transition.”	X
17. Parental Rights for Mental Health Disclosure: Directing schools to inform parents of any mental, physical, or emotional health information and treatment that a child is receiving at school.	X

Candidate's Comments:

These questions do not have enough nuance. In regards to question 17, if a child is seeking emotional-health support in cases of abuse, I oppose the notification of the parent to the degree that it puts the physical well-being of the child at risk.
