Candidate's Comments:
If a faith-based organization is providing a service to the community, I don't believe they should discriminate on the basis of potential clients' political or religious beliefs, unless such beliefs are clearly likely to be harmful to the child (such as religions that don't believe in medical care for sick children, etc). Everyone should be free from discrimination!

Candidate's Comments:
7. The goal of counseling for a child struggling with gender identity should not be to help the child find comfort with his or her biological sex, it should be to help the child work their way to clarity on who they really are. 8. If a child is truly female, in spite of a male body, insisting on treating that child as male is as much a form of child abuse as forcing a male child to wear a dress.

X |
Candidate's Comments:
11. I support schools' reporting the care a child is getting in school to the parents unless the school has reason to believe that such information will cause the parents to take action which would be harmful to the child. 12. If a school is teaching hate, then the answer is not to opt out, but to get the school to change what they're teaching. If they're teaching tolerance, love, and acceptance, then those are lessons every kid needs.

Candidate's Comments:
I believe that a women has and should have the right to terminate a pregnancy if she wishes until 24 weeks, and after that as well if it becomes clear that pregnancy and birth might be dangerous to the woman's health or life, or if the fetus has birth defects that would cause it to suffer significantly if carried to term. So yes, I support women's having the freedom to make these decisions on their own. I also believe that we have no right to interfere with an individual human's end-of-life decisions. I support terminally ill Americans' freedom to decide when and how they want to die.
