1.
Prohibiting Abortion: Prohibiting abortion except when necessary to save the mother's life.
X
2.
Taxpayer Funded Abortion: Allowing taxpayer dollars to fund organizations that provide abortion.
X
3.
Physician-Assisted Suicide: Allowing voluntary physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients.
X
Candidate's Comments:
1. Abortion is a personal choice, and there is not enough room in a doctor's office for the government. 2. I would not support adding anything to our taxes, we need to readjust and reprioritize what we're already spending. 3. There is no good reason that I can think of that a terminally ill person should not be able to die with dignity and without pain.
First Amendment

4.
Conscience Rights for Creative Professionals: Allowing creative professionals (photographer, baker, wedding vendor) to decline to participate in events or create messages that violate their moral or religious beliefs.
X
5.
Conscience Rights for Faith-Based Organizations: Exempting faith-based organizations from regulations that cause them to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.

6.
Free Speech on Campus: Prohibiting speech zones or speech codes that restrict where students can discuss controversial or unpopular issues on college campuses.
X
7.
Donor Privacy: Protecting confidential donor information so individuals are able to privately support charities of their choice without fear of being doxed.
X
Candidate's Comments:
4. Private citizens with their own private business can choose to work with whomever they desire. 5. This question is vague and I would need more information to give an accurate answer, but since there is no choice other than support or oppose, I put oppose with this comment as further clarification. 6. This also will come down to public vs. private colleges or universities. 7. I am not aware of any charities that have to disclose private and personal donor information to the general public like phone numbers or addresses. Instead, perhaps legislation could be introduced to make doxxing an individual a crime. We could also consider strengthening stalking laws already on the books.

8.
Women's Sports: Preventing biological males who identify as female from competing in women's sports.
X
9.
Gender Identity Counseling: Allowing parents to obtain professional counseling for children struggling with gender identity issues to help them reach their desired outcome.
X
10(a).
Protected Class for Sexual Orientation: Adding “sexual orientation” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law.
X
10(b).
Protected Class for Gender Identity: Adding “gender identity” as a protected class alongside race, religion, sex, age, and disability in nondiscrimination law.

Candidate's Comments:
8. The government has no place in this, leave it up to the individual sports leagues and schools. 9. Parents should not be restricted from seeking professional therapy for their children for any issue. Therapy benefits everyone. 10. Of course, LGBTQ folks deserve the same protections from discrimination as anyone else. Don't discriminate against people different than yourself and this wouldn't be a problem.
Education and Public Safety

11.
School Choice: Allowing the use of tax credits, vouchers, and education savings accounts to cover the cost of children attending the school of their parents' choice, including private schools.
X
12.
Parental Rights for Opt-Out: Giving parents the ability to opt their children out of school materials and lessons to which the parents object.
X
13.
Critical Race Theory: Allowing schools to teach children that America's laws, policies, and society perpetuate systemic racism and that people are either oppressors or oppressed, or privileged or marginalized, based on their skin color.
X
14.
Parental Rights for Transparency in Education: Giving parents access to the curriculum and materials their children are learning in school and allowing them to decide whether or not their children should be exposed to certain ideas.
X
Candidate's Comments:
11. Public funds need to stay with public schools. This would be a misuse of taxpayer money. 12. Parents already have this option in that they can homeschool their child, put them in a charter school, or a private school. We don't need to be creating more division between parents and teachers. 13. No K-12 school is teaching Critical Race Theory. What they are teaching is our nation's history, which at times can be uncomfortable. 14. Parents should absolutely be able to see the curriculum and materials their children are learning in case they would like to supplement that learning at home, but most parents are not trained educators and we need to let our teachers, the school administration, and the school board do their job.

15.
Medical Rights of Conscience: Allowing health care workers and providers the freedom to practice medicine in accordance with their personal beliefs and conscience.

X
17.
Parental Rights for Mental Health Disclosure: Directing schools to inform parents of any mental, physical, or emotional health information and treatment that a child is receiving at school.
X
Candidate's Comments:
15. Healthcare workers have a duty to protect their patients. This question is clearly in regards to vaccines, and as the daughter of two former healthcare workers who had to get yearly flu shots and be up to date on all other vaccines, this is nothing new. If someone has a legitimate medical or religious reason for opting out of a procedure that is fine. 16. Of course I support this because no school would ever provide medical services to a child without the parents consent. If a teenager wants to talk to their guidance counselor about personal struggles there needs to be some level of privacy and safety for that teenager. 17. See the above response. Schools cannot just give your child medication or medical treatments without the parent's express permission.
