Candidate's Comments:
On the issue of physician-assisted suicide, we need to make sure that a physician's ability to provide excellent end-of-life care for his/her patient is protected, and that medications that ease pain and discomfort at the very end of natural life are not prohibited from a physician's appropriate and ethical use.

Candidate's Comments:
Non-Discrimination laws should be re-written in a general and simple form that prohibits the discrimination against ANY individual based on who they are or what they believe (intrinsic qualities), and protects the right to discriminate based on an individual's behavior. There is a significant difference between someone who struggles with same-sex attraction and someone who openly practices homosexual behavior.

X
Candidate's Comments:
Criminal justice reform is an important issue that needs to be addressed very carefully. Justice is only achieved when the punishment fits the crime, and much of that is dependent on the moral and psychological condition of the criminal. Our judicial system needs stringent oversight so unethical judges and prosecutors can be rooted out and removed quickly either by a vote of the people, or through a system of checks and balances in the judicial system itself, so we can rely on them to be held to ethical and moral judgments that act as deterrents to crime in general while still encouraging reticence for offenders.
