Candidate's Comments:
For almost all these scenarios, I oppose them because they are hiding things like: 4. If you're a pharmacist, and you hold a religious belief that prevents you from disbursing a medication prescribed by a doctor to a patient, then you should not hold a license to distribute any medication because you hold your personal beliefs over your professional beliefs. That's not a pharmacist, that's someone who should not hold a license. 5. An example of this is a company like Chik-fil-et refusing to be open on Sundays and yet contracted to take up important food services locations at public rest areas on federal highway. It is immoral and disgusting the State of New York and the Federal Government would allow religion to take priority over the needs of the public on one of the busiest travel days. If you cannot be available to do your job for all citizens and visitors, you are not an appropriate business for the public. 6. Religious and Political beliefs stop U.S. banks from providing financial services for businesses that grow, distribute, and sell cannibis products. In that case, I support that prohibition. But when it comes to religious or political views like funding illegal Federal detention centers, the public pressured Citizens Bank to cease those operations. If your organization espouses religious or political views that are destructive, harmful, or discriminatory, I support banks shutting down their business with you. Banks should have the choice. They should not be forced to ban or keep businesses contrary to their banking interests.

Candidate's Comments:
Parents should be involved with helping their children navigate the internet. It is disappointing legislation would need to be required to help parents be good parents. We do not test children sufficiently in childhood to know what their "biological sex" is. 1.5% of people are not born biologically on a specific end of the spectrum and even more are only near that end because of hormone production and other anatomy and physiology. We should be teaching parents and children about what is gender and what is sex, how they are different, and beyond what we learned about DNA in middle school which was very simplified and did not cover all the possible sex chromosomes just as we only learned about brown and blue eyes. No mention of hazel. Klinefelter syndrome occurs in roughly 1 in 500 to 1 in 1,000 male births. About 80% of cases involve a 47,XXY pattern, meaning there’s an extra X chromosome. The remaining 20% involve more complex arrangements, including mosaic patterns where some cells have one chromosome set and other cells have another. People with Klinefelter syndrome are typically taller than average and may experience small testes, reduced facial and body hair, breast tissue development, and sometimes speech or learning differences. Fertility is often affected. Turner syndrome affects roughly 25 to 50 per 100,000 female births and involves the complete or partial loss of one X chromosome. About half of cases are a straightforward 45,X pattern; the other half involve mosaicism or structural changes to the X chromosome. Common features include short stature, heart defects (particularly issues with the aortic valve), kidney differences, and a broad neck. Ovarian function is usually reduced or absent. Beyond these well-known conditions, an estimated 1 in 100 Americans is born with some form of intersex trait, and around 2% of people worldwide have intersex characteristics. These can range from subtle hormonal variations that go unnoticed for years to more visible differences in anatomy at birth. There is NO WAY to determine the gender of a child 100% accurately at birth without a lot of expensive, unnecessary tests.

Candidate's Comments:
Of my future constituents, many have some school choice and town/state dollars to choose the school they go to, so I do not oppose that. That said, if parents want to use tax dollars to send their children to private schools, if those private schools do not accept all students in the community for any reason (must sign a religious statement, won't take disabled students, won't create IEPs, etc), then in my personal opinion, no tax dollars should be provided. If my constituents felt a discounted reimbursement which is basically what tax payers pay per pupil less the percentage of the cost of teaching the excluded students, I would support that as their representative. If the overwhelming majority of my constituents (66% or more) wanted the same reimbursement with tax dollars for private schools, I would also support that as their representative. 12. Part of the reason we pay taxes so students in our communities get an education, is so they are able to learn about and experience the history and ideas of our community. If students in my community are removed from the schools I pay for by their parents so they can be indoctrinated in ideas that will hurt the safety and well-being of our community, then they are failed by our community.

Candidate's Comments:
A fetus has a scientific name. If you don't like fetus, try using the also accurate obligate parasite. They are not legally or scientifically "unborn babies." Unborn babies is an oxymoron used by people who prefer religion/fiction over science. The legal and scientific definition of a baby requires it to be born. You seem to think parasites should have more rights than the citizen they host off of.
