No individual should be denied a professional license, bank account, or insurance solely because of lawful religious or political beliefs. However, licensed professionals must still satisfy competency and ethical standards, and financial institutions must retain authority to address fraud, illegal conduct, or legitimate financial risk. I respect religious freedom, but exemptions should not permit discrimination, compromise child safety, or deny publicly funded services to qualified individuals and families.

I support strong online protections for minors, including meaningful parental involvement, age-appropriate privacy safeguards, limits on data exploitation, and removal of addictive design features. Children experiencing distress about sex or gender should have access to compassionate, licensed, evidence-based counseling without coercion or a predetermined outcome. Parents should not lose custody solely because of their beliefs or approach to this issue; custody intervention should require credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or a serious threat to the child’s welfare.

Public education funding should remain accountable to taxpayers and prioritize strong public schools that serve every child, particularly in rural communities. Schools should encourage respectful communication while providing reasonable accommodations for sincerely held concerns without permitting harassment or discrimination. Parents should generally receive information about their child’s health and education, subject to appropriate confidentiality and safety exceptions. Curriculum transparency and reasonable opt-out procedures should not prevent schools from teaching required academic standards or substantially disrupt other students’ education.

I respect the deeply held moral and religious beliefs surrounding these issues. However, reproductive healthcare decisions should remain between a patient, their family, and qualified medical professionals—not politicians. Public funding should support organizations that provide lawful, comprehensive healthcare, including cancer screenings, contraception, prenatal care, and other essential services. For terminally ill, mentally capable adults, I support carefully regulated end-of-life options with strict safeguards, informed consent, independent medical review, and protections against coercion or abuse.
