Candidate's Comments:
A free society depends on protecting the rights of people we agree with and those we don't. I support policies that safeguard religious liberty, freedom of conscience, and equal treatment under the law. If situations arise where religious rights come into tension with other civil rights, government should seek solutions that respect both religious conscience and the dignity of all involved.

Candidate's Comments:
These questions are fundamentally about parental rights. Families facing these situations often do so with love, concern, and a desire to do what's best for their child. Parents should have the freedom to work with qualified medical and mental health professionals and make deeply personal decisions for their children without fear that the government will impose a single mandated approach or remove a child solely because of those decisions. Families acting in good faith deserve respect, even when they reach different conclusions.

Candidate's Comments:
These questions reflect four principles I strongly support: transparency, parental rights, educational choice, and freedom of conscience. Government should empower parents with information, provide meaningful educational options, and avoid compelling speech while encouraging respectful treatment of every student. While I don't support government mandates in this arena, I hope schools will voluntarily foster a culture of mutual respect and courtesy for students of all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities whenever possible.

Candidate's Comments:
Physician assisted suicide is a profoundly difficult issue involving human dignity, compassion, and the sanctity of life. I recognize the deep compassion that motivates people on both sides of this issue. My current position is to oppose physician-assisted suicide while supporting policies that emphasize hospice, palliative care, and support for patients and families facing the end of life.
