The motto of my campaign is Liberty and Common Sense. The proposals listed under 4, 5, and 6 make all sense from an individual liberty perspective, so I support them.

Candidate's Comments:
Parents' right are under attack. Indeed, it takes a village to raise a child but that does not mean the child belongs to the village. Parents are responsible for the raising of their children and parents should make the decisions for them, not physicians or teachers, etc. Gender dysphoria is a serious mental illness. Those suffering from it desire our love and understanding but foremost they deserve professional counseling. Parents should make the decision what is the best treatment for their child and obviously should not lose custody if they disagree with a doctor, bureaucrat, or educator.

Candidate's Comments:
Ad 9. An important way to improve educational outcomes is by bringing an element of competition into the monopolistic educational market. Vouchers give parents the opportunity to shop for the best available educational services for their children. Schools that underperform will lose market share and funding. That is how competition works and it will lead to better results for our children. Ad 11 and 12. Parents should make the core decisions for their children and therefore proposals 11 and 12 are needed.

Candidate's Comments:
A fair balance between the right of a woman to choose and the of the baby to live requires limits on the right to an abortion. Many countries by lack of a better criterion put a hard timeline down of for example 3 months after the estimate day of conception. Heart beat seems a better and more rational criterion. We need to prevent immoral excesses such as late term abortions. Although I understand the wish of terminal ill patients to end their lives, as with abortions, the risk of a slippery slope is just too great as demonstrated by the assisted suicide practice in Canada.
