I support allowing terminally ill, mentally competent adults to make this deeply personal decision with their families and physicians, but only after every reasonable treatment, pain-management, and hospice option has been considered, the diagnosis is independently confirmed, and strong safeguards ensure the decision is informed, voluntary, and free from coercion.

4. Government licensing decisions should be based on an applicant’s qualifications, conduct, and ability to perform the work not personal religious or political beliefs. No qualified individual should be denied the opportunity to earn a living because government officials disagree with their views. 5.Faith-based adoption agencies, schools, charities, and other organizations should be permitted to operate according to their sincerely held beliefs, provided they comply with essential health, safety, and financial-accountability standards. Government should not force religious organizations to abandon their convictions as a condition of serving their communities. 6. Financial institutions and insurance companies should not deny lawful services because they disagree with a customer’s religious or political views. Decisions should be based on legitimate financial risk, fraud, unlawful activity, or contractual violations, not ideological discrimination.

7. Online platforms should verify parental permission for underage accounts, preserve parents’ authority over access and settings, and disable addictive design features, targeted advertising, and unnecessary data collection for minors. Technology companies should not profit from exploiting children’s attention or personal information. 8 (a) Parents should be free to obtain licensed, ethical counseling that helps a child carefully work through distress about his or her biological sex. Counseling should be compassionate, evidence-based, free from coercion, and focused on the child’s long-term physical and emotional well-being. 8 (b)Parents should not lose custody solely because they raise, counsel, or care for their child according to the child’s biological sex. Government intervention should require credible evidence of abuse or neglect not disagreement with a parent’s religious beliefs, medical judgment, or approach to gender-related issues.

9. Parents should have greater freedom to choose the educational setting that best meets their child’s needs, including public, charter, private, vocational, homeschool, and religious options. Tax credits, vouchers, or education savings accounts should include reasonable financial accountability while respecting the independence of private and faith-based schools. 10. Teachers and students should treat everyone with dignity, but government schools should not compel anyone to use words that conflict with biological reality or sincerely held beliefs. Schools can promote respectful communication without punishing constitutionally protected speech or forcing ideological conformity. 11. Parents are primarily responsible for their children’s health and well-being. Schools should promptly inform parents about mental, physical, or emotional health concerns, evaluations, counseling, medications, or treatment, except when disclosure is temporarily restricted by law because of credible evidence of abuse or an immediate threat to the child’s safety. 12. Parents should have timely access to curricula, instructional materials, presentations, surveys, and school activities. They should be able to excuse their children from lessons or activities that conflict with deeply held religious or moral beliefs through a clear process, while ensuring students continue to receive essential academic instruction.

Reasonable protections should preserve patient safety, emergency care, informed consent, and access to lawful medical services. 14. Women and girls deserve privacy, dignity, and safety in sex-separated facilities such as showers, locker rooms, shelters, dormitories, and correctional institutions. Access should be based on biological sex, while reasonable private accommodations may be provided for individuals who need them. 15. Pregnancy resource centers that provide lawful, life-affirming assistance should not be singled out, defunded, or penalized because government officials disagree with their pro-life mission. They should be treated fairly under the same health, safety, disclosure, and consumer-protection standards applied to comparable organizations.
