Candidate's Comments:
I support protecting every American's constitutional right to hold and express their religious and political beliefs without government discrimination. Professional licensure should be based on qualifications, competence, and adherence to applicable laws and standards, not an individual's beliefs. I also support reasonable protections for faith based organizations so they can serve their communities without being forced to violate their sincerely held religious convictions, while continuing to meet legitimate health and safety requirements. Likewise, Americans should not lose access to banking or insurance because of their religious or political views. Decisions should be based on objective financial or legal criteria, not ideology.

Candidate's Comments:
I support parents having the primary authority over their children's upbringing, both online and offline. Parents, not government or technology companies, should decide when their children have access to social media, with age verification, parental consent, and appropriate oversight for minors. Online platforms should not exploit children through addictive features or misuse of their personal data. Parents should also be free to seek professional counseling that aligns with their values and helps a child find comfort with his or her biological sex. Finally, parents should not lose custody of their child solely because they choose to raise and care for their child consistent with his or her biological sex. Government intervention should be reserved for cases of abuse or neglect, not disagreements over parenting decisions.

Candidate's Comments:
I believe parents are the primary decision makers in their children's lives, and our laws should protect that fundamental right. Parents should have the freedom to choose the educational setting that best meets their child's needs, whether public, charter, private, religious, or home school. They deserve full transparency about what their children are learning, access to curriculum and instructional materials, and the ability to opt their children out of activities or lessons that conflict with their family's values. Schools should partner with parents, not replace them, and parents should be informed about significant matters affecting their child's mental, physical, or emotional well being. I also support protecting the constitutional rights of teachers and students by ensuring they are not compelled by government to use speech that conflicts with their sincerely held beliefs. Respect for one another is important, but so are the freedoms of speech, conscience, and religion. Strong families, informed parents, educational choice, and constitutional liberties create the best environment for children to succeed.

Candidate's Comments:
Every person is created with inherent value and purpose. Because of that conviction, I support protecting the unborn, oppose taxpayer funding for abortion providers, and oppose physician-assisted suicide. We should surround individuals and families with compassion, practical support, and hope at every stage of life.
