I support protecting individuals and organizations from discrimination based on their sincerely held religious or political beliefs. The government should not deny someone a license, certification, or opportunity simply because of their faith or viewpoint. Faith-based organizations should not be forced to violate their beliefs in order to serve their communities, and financial institutions should not be allowed to punish customers by closing accounts or canceling services because of their religious or political views.

I support protecting children online by requiring platforms to prevent underage access without parental permission, preserve parental authority when access is allowed, and remove addictive design features and data exploitation from underage accounts. I also support the right of parents to seek professional counseling for a child struggling with gender confusion to help that child find comfort with his or her biological sex, and I support protecting parents from losing custody simply because they treat their child consistent with his or her biological sex.

I support giving parents more control over their children’s education, including the ability to use tax credits, vouchers, or education savings accounts to choose the school that best fits their child, including private religious schools. I also support protecting teachers and students from being forced to use pronouns that do not align with biological sex. Parents should be fully informed about any mental, physical, or emotional health information or treatment their child receives at school, and they should have access to curriculum, presentations, and activities, with the right to opt their child out when they object.
