I support protecting the constitutional rights of individuals and organizations to exercise sincerely held religious beliefs without government discrimination. Americans should not lose access to professional licensure, banking, insurance, or other lawful services solely because of their religious or political views. At the same time, no religious legal system may supersede the United States Constitution or civil law. Sharia law, like any other religious code, has no authority where it conflicts with constitutional rights, equal protection, due process, or the laws of the United States.

Parents not technology companies or government agencies should have the primary authority to protect and guide their children. Online platforms should provide strong default safeguards for minors, require meaningful parental consent, and prevent addictive design practices and exploitation of children’s personal data. Parents should also be free to seek licensed professional counseling for a child experiencing gender confusion and should not lose custody merely for affirming the child’s biological sex. These decisions should remain with parents and qualified professionals, absent actual abuse or neglect.

Parents are the primary decision-makers in their children’s education. Families should have meaningful school-choice options, including access to private and faith-based schools, and parents should be able to review curriculum, presentations, and activities before their children are required to participate. Schools should not withhold important mental, physical, or emotional health information from parents, except where disclosure is prohibited by law to protect a child from actual abuse or immediate danger. Teachers and students should also be protected from compelled speech and should not be forced to use language that conflicts with biological reality or their sincerely held beliefs.

My positions are grounded in my belief that every human life has inherent dignity and value. I believe life begins at conception and should be protected, and I do not believe taxpayers should be required to fund organizations that provide abortions. I also oppose physician-assisted suicide because I believe our focus should be on compassionate hospice care, effective pain management, mental health support, and ensuring every person is treated with dignity and compassion throughout the natural course of life.
