Candidate's Comments:
I am a man of principles. My political approach is based on personal liberty and freedom. Thomas Jefferson is said to have made two statements that are the basis of my campaign. First, "The purpose of government is prevent men from harming one another:, and second, "If my neighbor has neither broken my leg nor taken money from my pocket, his affairs are. his own." 1. The decision of abortion is the affair of my neighbor, and the decision is between her and God. I'll let them handle it. 2. The use of taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions takes money from my pocket; I'm opposed. 3. Decisions between a doctor and my neighbor are theirs, not mine. Government should stay out of that decision. Warmest regards, Ed George

Government licensure is a violation of freedoms of the people; government should not be in the business of granting licensure to anyone, not denying the right of anyone to participate in a willing relationship, business or otherwise, with anyone else. 5. Generally I would support, but not always. If the religious belief results in an action that causes harm to another person, then the action should be illegal. Otherwise, government should stay out of anything regarding religion as with any other supernatural beliefs.

Actions by others which hurt children should be met with aggressive government action. However, parents are responsible for raising their children and controlling their access to platforms and the internet, not the government. 8a. This is an issue of my neighbor, not mine. Government should stay out of it. 8b. Government should stay out of family matters, unless there is physical harm involved.

How parents choose to educate their children is their business (as my neighbor, not my business). 10. This issue would best be handled by privatizing all education, and getting government out of issues that do not affect me, nor most of my neighbors. 11. Government schools should not be supplying this treatment, let alone keeping it a secret. 12. I would advise my neighbor to get their kids out of the government school, and into one that aligns with values of reasonable people.

No one should be forced to supply a service they do not wish to provide. This is counter to principles of individual rights and personal liberty. 14. Anyone who feels otherwise is simply stupid, and in violation of our social norms. Otherwise, why have separate facilities at all? 15. Government should stay out of my neighbor's affairs.
