Candidate's Comments:
We are a nation whose foundation, laws and institutions were built upon the Christian faith, the principles found in the Bible, Old and New Testament, and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The Founders original intent for our nation was freedom and liberty and to practice their faith. They also held belief that we could not be self-governed in a most effective manner apart from this faith. John Adams our second U.S. President, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." To allow government to single out and exclude people of faith, particularly of the Christian faith, is both dangerous and injurious to the perpetuation of our constitutional republic. To force people of faith, particularly the Christian faith, to comply with policies that violate their religious beliefs is unacceptable and any public policy that engages or promotes this practice should be overturned and changed for the benefit of all citizens.

Candidate's Comments:
There are only two genders: Male and Female as God created us. To lead a child to believe otherwise is abuse. Any governmental policy or law that interferes with a parent's efforts to parent and raise their child in a healthy enviorment should be overturned and public policy should be one that edifies the parent and supports the parent to raise their child in a healthy environment spiritually, emotionally, and physcially.

Candidate's Comments:
The direction of public policy in our states and nation should be of one of promoting an environment for parents where Godly principles, practice, and correction by parents can thrive. We all benefit as a culture by supporting parents as they raise their children in a healthy environment spiritually, emotionally, and physically. American education for the last four centuries, even before the Founding, religion, morality, and knowledge formed the core elements of American education. We need to return to this and shape and support public policy as leaders to promote a return to these core elements of education.

Candidate's Comments:
The abortion issue is not one of a political nature but a spiritual one. Murder has always been a spiritual issue. The 6th commandment found in Exodus 20:13 says, "Thou shall not murder". I arrive at my decisions as to how I will vote on issues as follows: First and foremost, most importantly, what does God's holy and precious word, the Bible say about the issue. Secondly, what does the Constitution say which was inspired by the first. After we have established these bedrock foundations, then we can chat about the myriad of personal opinions citizens may have. But first, what does the Bible say, and secondly what does the Constitution say as the anchor tethered by these mooring lines to hold us fast to responsible public policy making that affects our culture and our citizens and keeps us strong as an American nation under a constitutional republic.
